1. What is a GPO and what are the benefits?
     a. A group purchasing organization (GPO) leverages the collective buying power of its members to obtain discounts from contracted vendors.  Healthcare GPOs are valuable to medical practices striving to decrease expenses in this era of rising costs and declining reimbursement.
2. Is there a cost to join PRN?
     a. No.  PRN is open to any medical practice, independent or hospital affiliated, of any size.  Not only is participation free, but by joining our group you will realize even more savings on some contracts, because our purchasing volume puts in a higher tier.
3. Am I obligated to participate in all of the programs?
     a. No.  While we are hopeful the PRN contracts will give you significant savings in all areas, you are not obligated to participate in all of our programs.
4.  Is there a long term commitment?
     a. No.  You may terminate your participation in any of our contracts at any time.

1. With whom do you have contracts?
     a. We hold vaccine contracts with Merck, Sanofi Pasteur, and Medimmune.
2. Do these include flu vaccines?
     a. Yes.  Our contracts include discounts on Fluzone®, AFLURIA®, and FluMist®.
3. How do I access the discounts?
     a. After you sign and return the amendment(s), you will be linked to our contract(s).  Our office will notify you via e-mail as soon as you are linked, which is generally within 5 days.
4. Do I have to purchase vaccines from you or your website?
     a. No.  Once linked, you will purchase your Sanofi Pasteur and Merck vaccines directly from their websites.  You will purchase your Flumist from one of the authorized distributors.
5. Are there any purchasing compliance requirements?
     a. Yes.  Participation in both the Merck and Sanofi Pasteur Agreements requires loyalty to several key products, which are outlined in the documents you will receive for each partner.  PRN will continually review individual clinic purchases to assure compliance with these loyalty requirements.
